Religious discourse employs sacred symbols and vocabulary to construct a divine existential vision, with connotations transcending literal meaning into realms of loyalty, veneration, and identity. This research focuses on Lady Fatima al-Zahra (PBUH), who in Shiite consciousness symbolizes chastity, sacrifice, and absolute generosity, embodying prophetic sanctity. Jassim Al-Sahih, a contemporary Saudi poet devoted to the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), composes a religious discourse where love fuses with creed and emotion with identity. He employs sophisticated mechanisms to construct an exalted Fatimid image, moving beyond conventional praise into spiritual engagement.
Adopting an analytical-descriptive method grounded in the semantics of poetic text, this study uncovers how the poet re-creates the sacred through mechanisms like semantic, temporal, and spatial deviation (defamiliarization), alignment with sacred archetypes, and dual symbolism. The research's significance lies in demonstrating contemporary poetry's capacity to renew religious discourse through an aesthetic language that avoids mere imitation, instead offering an integrated existential vision that transforms love for Fatima (PBUH) into a spiritual experience linked to revelation and worship. The findings reveal that the ode constitutes a mystical-poetic experience, turning the Fatimid name into a cosmic focal point for existence, redefining the human relationship with the Absolute. Ultimately, the research emphatically proves that religious discourse in modern poetry can function as a tool for spiritual hermeneutics, rather than serving as rigid doctrinal repetition.
